About Bruce
My work started at the McKechnie extruder in New Plymouth in 1963 and I was involved with the early Crittall window and door brass sections as well as other hardware shapes. On my return from South Africa I spent some years in Hospital Equipment and thereafter 22 years at Cambrian Engineering involved in hardware production and componentry manufacture. My long term engineering experience is coupled with my hobbies of old cars and the Art Deco era. I have an extensive library of books collected from all over the world on 1920s to 1970s architecture, hardware, glass and ceramics. |

I have nearly 50 years experience polishing, making and repairing brass hardware and a wide range of metal objects.
